Jim is the name......

I am based in the Republic of Ireland.

I have been scrapping for a little over a year and a half now.

I have been on a learn as I go curve over the last 18 months and am delighted to find a dedicated website forum ( with active members )



Right now my collection of computer scrap consists of around 60 kilos of home computer motherboards

I have around 12 kilos of modems, sound cards , video cards, risers etc

I have about 1.5 kilos of Ram

And around 40 different CPU chips stashed away.

I made a choice to grab computers with both hands and stash the boards away until I had built up enough to do something with.

At present I have no idea what the potential yield would be even if I was brave enough to try and recover any gold.

I am looking forward to watching , listening and learning all the tricks.

I am sure that I will be slapping my own forehead when I realise all the valuable stuff I have simply thrown away without knowing what it was........
