    Hi,



    My name's Gary and I've joined this forum mainly out of curiosity.

    I'm semi retired, age 59 and looking to find some alternatives in helping me make ends meet.

    Last worked for the Australian Dept of Defence for 20 years, first 10 years in stocktaking discrepancy investigations and the last 10 years in defence IT.

    Took a redundancy package in Nov 2008 when defence contracted out IT.

    Now I do PC repairs at home, give computer lessons and sell secondhand heaters and new heating accessories on eBay.

    Looking into buying/scavenging and reselling scrap metals, and I'm also interested in metal detectors.

    Hope to gain some knowledge from the forum.

    Welcome to the forum and you will find we have a few members from your country. There is a huge amount of information available here on the forum. I suggest you take the time to read all you can. Start with the beginners area and all the sticky threads. There are great threads in the elecronics section.
