    Hi,



    I was browsing the net for scraps and came to this site, I am currently operating a 500kg / day electronic and computer scrap business in Iran. I have recovered and refined gold, silver from most of the computer scraps, but I haven't touched electronics and batteries yet, trying to find some info about how to recover and refine the base metals in them such as copper/tin and lead.

    Hi Mechanic,

    I have been member to that great site for 2 yrs now, and most of the stuff I learned about recovery and refining precious metals from e-scrap and auto catalyst converters has been from members of that awesome sites.

    One thing I was looking for in this site was vast majority of threads talking about removing plastic cover from copper wires, we get 100kgs of wire weekly, so I found this useful.
