Computer Guy focusing on E-Waste Recycling

Hello, Everyone. I'm Lloyd with Computer Heaven in Southwest Florida. We are a computer store and we're starting to really focus on collecting and recycling e-waste from our community. I have always recycled/scrapped in our business, but it has become something we're really starting to focus on as a core part of our business. Great information here, thank you all for providing such an excellent resource. I look forward to chatting to you!

Welcome, Lloyd! It will be great to have a computer store owner here on the boards to share another perspective with us. I know one local computer store in my neck of the woods absolutely cleans up on e-scrap from the community (he's kind of a competitor/friend type of situation). Anyway, he does really well and sometimes, depending on the market, I'll actually sell some local, heavier e-scrap to him (power supplies, optical drives, etc).

Anyway, best of luck to you!
