    Hello from South Carolina!

    Hey y'all!
Been lurking and reading for awhile.... decided to jump in and join the group. Im in the midlands area here in South Carolina. Fairly new to scrapping myself besides aluminum cans. Realized awhile back how much money I was throwing away doing remodels or just passing up. Took a small pile of copper pipe scrap to scrap yard last year and was nicely surprised. Been collecting ever since. I have been also stockpiling computer parts too. Anywho... just wanted to say hey and hope to join in on some discussions soon.

    Rob

Make sure to cut off the Parts where the pipes are soldered together in order to get #1 copper and sell the soldered pipe as #2 you will notice a price difference. Try any local hotels and ask around if they're remodeling/ upgrading their electronics etc
