Remember - Things aren't always what they seem. Just cause somebody says something, doesn't mean it's so.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

there are many women on this forum, most are as good or better scrappers then the men because most women are better multi taskers. I apoligized for for wording a post in such a way that you took offence. coping an attitude wont help you here sooo lets start over.......or not, its up to you.

You'll need something more than the ol 2x4 with a screw in it. A dedicated wire stripper with a sharp utility blade would work best, you can find examples of home made strippers of that caliber too, if you're unable to buy one suitable enough. It will likely need to be well anchored to a secured workbench. If pulling it is a major chore, a pulley placed in front about ten feet or so, with a good rope tied to a pair of vice grips might get you going, clamp it to the wire and pull it with the rope through the pulley in 5 or ten foot bites, that would give you roughly twice the pulling power
