Brand new to scrap metal business

    Hi everyone,

My name is Cory Haasnoot I live in Menomonie, Wisconsin. I'm just getting started in the scrap business no experience as of yet but I'm want to focus most of my attention on electronics scrap because the future looks very bright for this business. I hope to learn alot from this forum and network with people in the industry.

Welcome chaasnoot! You're in the right place, that's for sure. Out of curiosity, what got you interested in scrapping?

Also, e-scrap is awesome, but even most of us e-scrappers still pick up regular scrap (especially during slow periods) for quick extra money. As you'll read many times over here, one of the first things you need to do is establish relationships with good scrap yards in your area. Then do some free advertising, and it's all down-hill from there!

    Best of luck to you.
