    New E Waste Seller Here

I have a small computer repair and get a lot of scrap, even when I don't want it so instead of turning them away or sending them to the dump to spend $ on throwing out there old stuff I wanna take it and make a little side money on it.

Big thanks to Ewasted, googling around found me this site and this site led me to him so I can get an order going this weekend.

Those of us in the e-scrap biz are jealous of you computer repair shop guys. I've dealt with a few guys like you and they just had TONS of stuff in basements/storage units, etc.

Good luck and cash in! Ewasted is the best.

Secondary question if this is the right place. I'll have a lot of metal cases and plastics left over. Do those have any value or should I just pitch it with the trash?

Plastics little no value, check google for a local scrap yard to take the steel cases... market ranges depending on your region. Expect $.06 to $.11 per lb on the cases if steel. Some are aluminum of course. Quick test would be to hit them with a magnet - if it sticks/pulls the case is steel. If not it is more than likely aluminum.

And don't forget the small plate on the rear with the openings for mice and keyboards that are purple/green colored. Check them with a magnet because about 40-50% are stainless. Also watch out for the brass motherboard stand-off's in the older computers. All that small stuff add's up.

One more question? Is it worth doing this if I just dealing with computers and cases. I have no desire to start dealing with fridges and the like.
