    New from the MN.

I've switched up my occupations from a equipment operator to a underground construction grunt. This has given me the scrapping bug from all the underground utilities and demo work we run into. Just like to say thanks for all the information I've already gleaned from this website and hope to contribute some information from construction side in the future.

Hehe I understand the competition thing. I've already been splitting some finds with the rest of the crew. Scrap ferrous is where I split. Copper or small stuff since I'm the bottom grunt is all mine. Its actually made my transition to a little different trade more enjoyable. I don't let it get in the way of my job though so you'd be blown away of the amount of stuff I have to throw due to time constraints. Last week I even got some BS time with a large yard owner on items he's looking for like I beams and what to look for on commercial demos.
