    No advertising!

The introduce yourself forum IS NOT FOR ADVERTISING.

This is an opportunity to introduce yourself to other forum members, NOT an opportunity to score leads.

Introductions offering to buy or sell anything will be deleted.

If you want to advertise, upgrade your membership and make payment to the forum like everyone else here, http://www.scrapmetalforum.com/payments.php then post your advertisement in the Buyers and Sellers section where it belongs.

I would just like to mention, that although this thread has been a sticky in this forum for multiple years - That it is not outdated and does in fact still apply.

If you're not going to post an introduction, in which the purpose of the introduction is to introduce yourself, don't post your thread in the Introduce Yourself section of the forum.

Hello; My name is Abe and this is the very first time I have joined and posted so I hope this is where to do it and the correct thing to do. I am not a professional scrapper; I'm a retired forest farmer and was using my skidder and knuckle-boom loader to crush and scrap old cars and equipment from off the farm. I was getting a little money out of the weight of the scrap metal when suddenly the bottom dropped out of the market so I quit crushing and selling scrap. Now I have joined here to find out what is best to do and the best way to make it with scrap. Any response, advice, and welcomes are appreciated, thanks. Now if I can figure out how to send this message
