small amateur aluminum foundry in charlottesville

hi all, built a waste oil foundry here in charlottesville, had a "toy" one for years that'd handle about a liter and ran on propane, the new guy does 6-7 liters pretty well with veggie oil. interested in meeting other geeks in the neighborhood

You found your home foundry geek, lets see some of your castings.

In the gustavus thread i have given quit a write up on patterns, then later on I'm going to do some castings from a scrap aluminum intake manifold from a Case diesel engine just to show the value of scrap when it has been made into something useful.
