hey everyone. Ive been lurking for few months.. being a research junkie, i have glanced over all the post in several categories. Ive always loved to take stuff apart but never tried for money until i became disabled. Have not been able to work for over a year so i started picking up light stuff i could pick up on trash days to try and sell. started by just grabbing stuff i knew i could sell (crgslst or yardsales) but decided to start taking apart the electronics to pay for gas between good scores. Mostly going for the copper, al, and boards. I have no experience in anything electrical or metal but i learn quick and love to learn.

    thanks for all the post

Welcome and congrats on finding this forum. I also used scraping as a way to do something productive after being put on dialysis. It allowed me to gain strength and feel useful. I was was lucky and after over 4yrs of dialysis I received a transplant. Since then, 3 months ago, I am gaining my strength again and catching up on all the scrap build up in the back yard. You will find other members have had similar experiences so you will be in good company.

Read the old posts it will help you succeed. Mike
