Hey, what's up everyone? I'm down here on the east coast of Florida and I thought I'd take up scrapping for some extra cash flow. The forums have been a huge help so far, I definitely appreciate everyone's input here!
Scrapping is really appealing to me because I've always been an against the grain kind of guy and bosses and such are just not my style haha. I run a small pool service and I thought scrapping would be a nice, stress free way to add to my income. Plus I spot plenty of scrap on the side of the road when doing my pool route. .I also end up coming across car parts and cars near the end of their life fairly often with my other hobbies. I'm a bit of a hippie too so the recycling aspect is a nice plus for me.
Right now I've got an 85 Mercedes 300d that I'd like to maximize the scrap value for. Heavy old diesel car so hopefully I can do alright with it.
Anyway, I've got some questions but I'll start a thread in the right place for those. See you guys around.
