Been sneaking around the forum reading lots of good ideas and information. So decided I'd better become a member.
Hang out down here in Australia. I'm retired but love scrapping and making some beer money. Live on a little farm outside of a small town - pop 350. I did say small. One advantage I have is that I have never had to pay for a load of scrap. People are just happy for me to take it away. We also still have a couple of land-fill dumps that provide good scrounging, and even our transfer stations, which are unmanned, have a separate area for metals and all things good for scrappers. Technically not supposed to "recycle" but out here nobody cares as long as you keep it neat and don't trash the place.
Anyway, great to be aboard and look forward to some happy hours going through the forum.
