Sarasota, FL scrapping.....

I have been in the scrapping industry for over 15 yrs. The first 8 years my focus was on catalytic converters. We were buying over 40,000 cats a month through my shop. Then in August of 2008 that industry was rocked when Rhodium went from $10,000 oz down to $700 oz. My world was turned upside down. I then turned my efforts more toward non-ferrous scrap and over the last couple of years have been evolving more toward Escrap. Just recently found SMF and i am glad to be part of the community. I will try and contribute what I have learned over the years and look forward to gleaning some new knowledge from the other members.

welcome to the forum. use to spend some time in carnie town every year at extravagansa looking for new rides.

I would have to agree with you....I came here 3 yrs ago to do some business went back to TN sold my biz there came here and built another scrap yard..... Nothing like scrapping in paradise
