Hello everyone, or should I say "hey y'all". Greetings from Alabama.



My name is Charlie Skinner and I am a full time peanut farmer here in the South. I am also a demolition contractor and that's where the majority of my scrap comes from. It's amazing what you can find in old buildings. I've been working on building my e-scrap pile and found this forum while looking for info about it. You guys are doing a great job sharing information, as you know knowledge is money. I've already learned several new things reading and thought I'd join up so I could reply, thank and post hopefully informative posts.

I scrap part time to fund my other hobby, restoring my old cars. It's a long road, but I'm doing all the work myself and that's satisfying.

As a peanut farmer I would guess South Alabama but there are farms in the Central part too. I'm from just north of Birmingham so welcome to the forums.
