    JAL introduction

    Hi

My Name is John and I live in Saginaw MI. I have been trying to figure out how to scrap old electronic for precious metals. I have got the chemicals and I have not been able to get anything to work. I have a great deal of scrap electronics and I need someone to show me how to work with the chemicals or partner with me on scraping my old electronics for precious metals.

Hi John! I'm near Saginaw as well. I've never tried recovering the metals and after reading a lot on it, I'm a bit skeptical about trying it. I don't know anyone in the area as far as scrappers that are doing this either. If I hear of someone I'll let you know.

The dangers out weigh the return for most individuals. In my and many others opinion that rather than attempt refinning leave this to those who are doing it safely. The left over materials are dangerous to you, and your family and others near you. Please go to the goldrefinning forum and read read read and read what they reccomend before asking any questions. The members on that forum are all about refinning PM's but are not forgiving to new members unwilling to do the reading before asking questions.

If you are interested in learning how most of us make money from electronic recycling take the time to read the old threads on electronics. Also read through the buyers/sellers section and take note of the reviews of our member-buyers.

I hope you will take my advise and secure your refinning operation and do the studying that I believe would be the best route to take.

Also welcome to the forum I am glad you joined. Mike.
