    Hellow from Milwaukee, WI.

Hi everybody, I'm new to the scraping world. Well I guess I should say that I am now actively seeking scrap. So far I have only been going through trash on the curb after work. Figured since I am second shift that I might get a good jump on the competition. Kind of slim picking so far the first week. Stripped down four tv's so far. started to do them on the curb after I figured out how to do It to one. the only other thing I seem to find reliably is aluminum can. Kind of feel weird going through recycle bins at 2 in the morning but I could probably get 50lbs. a week no problem. I got 12 pounds the first night but ran out of room even crushing them and had to leave a bunch behind. Well thats it for now. Thank for all of the knowledge so far..

    Welcome to the forum.

Be careful when picking thru trash as some bins and what's in them is property of the disposal company.

If your pulling out of an actual recycle bin then that is illegal and we don't condone that here. They belong to someone,,,

Well I didn't think of it like that. I thought it was the same as going through the trash. But if its illegal I won't do it anymore I don't need to get into trouble over it.
