Hi Mechelle, Welcome to the forum.

As for your question : you should find your local scrap yards to begin with. Find out what materials they will purchase from you. As for your higher grade electronics materials, you will probably find a better deal by selling to one of the buyers from the forum. Also, where you sell your materials or components depends on how much you are breaking down or "taking apart" the TVs and Computers. I personally break everything down pretty low and for me it works better to sell my shred, copper, brass, ss, aluminum, copper wire, transformers, electric motors and plastics to local scrap yards. But for the higher grade materials, like mother boards, finger cards, cpus, ram, stuff like that, I sell to a buyer from the forum. There are a few of them, you can find them here Scrap Buyers & Sellers.

    Good Luck!!
