    Just intro myself

So glad I found this forum. Lots of info and some very knowledgeable people on here. I got into scrapping a few months ago when I tore down our old above ground pool and realized it was good aluminum sides and decking. Loaded it up, took it to town, and came back with over $500 in my pocket. I was hooked. Have been saving aluminum and tin cans, picking up metal whenever i see it on road and am cruising around being amazed at what people throw out that has good metal in it. Just kind of a way to pick up a few bucks here and there for now but will keep my eye out for folks tearing down their pools. Ha!

I personally like microwaves, easy to open up. Grab the wire and transformers, motors and glass tray and fill the carcass up with small steel bits/pieces.

Yeah...I don't even look at a paper clip the same way, anymore. Welcome from Indiana...
