Hi. I am just getting started in scrap metal recovery & recycling...any suggestions appreciated! Based in London there seems to be many people out there collecting scrap so any ideas on how best to do so would be great.

Welcome to the Forum. Best advice to get started is get as much knowledge as possible. To do that, read through old threads on here. Start with the "stickies" at the top of each sub-forum.

Welcome to the forum. We have several members from the U.K. and I feel they are the best to answer any legal/license questions. I seem to remember there may be some requirements to get a license in order to do the scraping. I may be very mistakened so ask one of those guys. Mike.
