    Electronics Scrapper in Atlanta, GA

    Good day all!

My name is Josh and I'm 29 years. I'm an electronics scrapper in the Atlanta, GA area. I've been scrapping for a little over 1 year now. I tend to focus my effort on computers and computer parts, monitors, tvs, wires, printers, copiers, fax machines, etc. I wipe harddrives and data, test and resell if at all possible. When that's not possible, I will scrap the item.

I began the scrapping game by hitting my local trash routes at night and going out on bi-annual clean ups. At this point I have a Facebook page, Craiglist ads, Website, business cards, fridge magnets, and I'm doing my first small direct mail campaign this week.

I scrap part-time, after work and on the weekends, but for the time I put into it I do make quite a bit of money on the side.

I've been following the Scrap Metal Forum community for awhile. It was about time I signed up and introduce myself.

I look forward to meeting everyone and soaking up all of the knowledge I can.

    Thanks,
    Josh

Welcome aboard. I would like to extend to you that the drives you test bad have more than scrap value. Please check out my buyers thread below in my sig for a pricelist of hard drives for refurbing. I have a pretty good contact with a refurb company and would love a chance to earn your business.
