    NE Oklahoma Scrapper

    I'm a newb and am familiar with scrappin' when I was an electrician...social security just isn't enough...so, here I am!

    Welcome from north central Kansas ! Where a bouts you located in ok ? Use to have family round fair view area, and kinda know that area, use to go down there in spring for the rattle snake round up.

    welcome to the forum from a transplanted okie, from Brokenarrow. GOOOOO UNION!! worked at Donges bros ford for many years, sold trucks

    take an hour a night and study this forum, it is a doctorate in scrapping :

    I live in Broken Arrow and have a farm with a couple of boys to dismantle near Beggs, OK. I'm not familiar with Fairview...except for the nursing home that needs a fire alarm system, but, they didn't want to spend the money. That was in another life.

    Hey olddude,

    I've been readin' a lot of your posts already!! I bought my first truck from Doenges Bros. when I started McCurdy Electric in 1976. That would be the Ford dealership on Sheridan at about 36th Street. Don Thornton Ford became one of my best customers. He's sellin' Cadillacs now...shoulda watched HIM closer.

    heh heh old man dounges was a real trip. got a million stories about him. he kept his wife locked in the house in Bartlesville for 12 years before any one figgured it out. back in 76 I had a talk show on KLPR in oklahoma city. started at Doenges about 79 or 80. good luck to ya.
