Lots of luck Cory. It you put in the time and effort the money is there. I make more cash on the side in a year than the average American makes in a year. But i am working 16 hour days running my shop and my other side businesses to make it happen. What i do is diversify, i spread out in many directions and see what works and what does not. Then i focus my efforts/money in the most profitable areas. If you limit your risk you will also limit the rewards. So its best to always be open to new opportunities. And remember that every day is a new day.

Best of luck to ya cuz, it ain't gona be easy. But when you think what the hell did I get myself into and feel overwhelmed, don't ever doubt yourself. I'm a firm believer that good old fashioned stubbornness gets ya threw bout mess you'll get yourself into. Wish I was as brave as you to take the leap, I really got some mad respect for anyone willing to do it.

I'd try going full time, but I like these half-days too well. The part I really like is it doesn't matter which half I work. I can either work the first 12 hours, or the next!

I second KZ on this you have been very inventive and aggressive in your business. The only way is up for you. Just don't stop doing what has gotten you to this point. You must concentrate on being organized and focused on the plan. Best of luck, Mike.

today i went and picked up my welder, i paid for it a few weeks ago just hadnt had time to pick it up(miller matic 150), redone the whole dovetail on the trailer it was flapping pretty good even put some gussets on the inside of the frame, got a car today it didnt even flex. first parts are starting to sell ( i know its cheap but im gonna post it) sold a rear end for a 97 mustang gt for $100 and he got some plastic parts for $40 so $140 at less than $25 had i sold it for scrap, we gonna pull the motor and transmission this week im gonna post it on cl for $500 for a quick sale (ebay 700 on the low side for the motor alone) im gonna do this with most of the wrecks i get at the wrecker services as the drive train should be good since they were running when they hit. ive got a porsche 924 thatim gonna part out to the max(anyone interested can just check ebay and see what porsche tool kits and spare tires sell for and mine have never been touched) the cars i normally get for the most part will have the fast track to the scrap yard. i reposted my ads for appliances, computers, and sealed cylnders, ive not ran those since summer or earlier because we was so busy with cars. anyway just an update for those that want to know
