To touch more on what idaho was talking about. Dovebid has a monthly auction of Commercial trucks and trailers. You can check out there calendar on there website. They usually post good pictures and descriptions. The only problem with dovebid has been the fact that you have to meet a reserve price before it the bid will be accepted and will be released by its owner. Don't get me wrong I have made some good money off reserve actions in the past on dovebid. They also have a monthly industrial machinery auction to so you might want to check that out to. I haven't bid on industrial auctions in four years and man do I miss auction fever. I plan on getting back into it in 2013. I have made it my goal to start blowing out scrap out of state. I miss doing it a lot.

How much did the buildings go for seeing how its mostly sheet iron? Loading and removing twisted sheet iron is a real pain in the butt. I have done a bunch of these buildings in the past. Butler buildings like the ones pictured can be easily taken apart and reassembled again. Stupid prices could indicate that was there plan. Actions are a bunch of footwork and worth the hassle because the payoff can be 100 percent profit or more if you can do it right. You pretty much need to have your prices per ton, estimated tonnage, labor, equipment, other misc. expenses figured out before you can bid on scrap lots at an auction. Set a limit on each lot and don't go over it. There is a ton of variables to being good at actions and making cash doing it. I wish you the best though.

the cheapest one went for 5200. Grady Auctions & Realty, Inc. building number 4, we wanted building number 3 i forget but it was over 10, my old street foreman said they all went way higher than estimates. we were wanting to rebuild about a 1/3 of it and probably scrap the rest. there was a junkyard owner there several farmers and some construction companies, the estimate for the one we wanted was 2500 he had told me so 4 times over, your right pistone someone probably rebulding for profit, as far as a limiit we only took 3000 and i never even got to raise my hand
