first Time Post

Hi all, My name is Doug Barber and I'm US Army retired and have my own computer business in Lubbock Texas. I have probably tossed more money on old pc's than I care to consider. But that's hopefully going to change.

After some soul searching and a shift in thinking, I decided one day to stop throwing away an income that I ignored for MANY years.



I found this forum quite by accident and have learned a lot already and hope to contribute as well.

After retiring from the Army, I opened my own business in Lubbock and have been plugging away ever since till I looked at the shop and realized I had to do something with the 50 or so pc's collecting dust or get a bigger place. I've shipped my first shipment and waiting on the results. I'm grateful for any help I can get.

As the others have said...welcome to the forums! Pull up a chair, grab a beer/soda/etc and enjoy the tons of information at your fingertips. These folks here will amaze you constantly with their advice, tips, tricks, bad jokes, and other assorted bits of wisdom. The search system can be a tad irksome at times, but it does work, specially the advanced, me and the general search box are no longer on speaking terms. Ha!

Welcome again, and be sure to let us know how things go for ya now that your not just tossing all that extra cash away.
