    Another new member

Hello there. New member here. I do most of my scrapping based off of what I find on craigslist free ads and whether or not its worth the money in gas to drive across the city to pick things up. Been threads on this forum for a while and figured I should join up. My wife thinks Im nutts but I enjoy tinkering with things or just ripping them apart, so even if I only make five bucks for a saturdays worth of work, it still beats sitting on the couch all day and watching duck dynasty re-runs.

Thanks to mattinthehat for reminding me, a while back here I read about a book created by one of the members, I think it was in regards to escrap and went for about $10. I tried to search for it but cant find a working link for the life of me, if anyone could point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums. There are a lot of helpful people here, and chances are eventually there will be something you can help us with too. I suggest reading some of the old posts, you might find things you would never think to ask about.

There is no good link for the book at the moment, don't know what happened with it.

Theres no algebra right? Thanks though, I was just reading your thread about signs. Considering investing in a few, maybe not 100 but twenty around town. My only concern though is investing in a small trailer and then never really seeing enough scrap to justify purchasing one, or vice versa, getting a few calls that the bed of my truck cant handle and looking like a schmuck. But hey, guess you cant make progress without risk.

Welcome. My little 4x8 trailer doesn't get much use, but it sure is nice to have when I need it. If you can afford it, and have space to store it, I don't see how it could be a bad investment as it can be used for other stuff aside from scrap.
