Just wanted to say hello to everyone and tell a little about myself. I am 40 years old and live in Oklahoma. I took up scrapping as a hobby and love to take things apart to figure out how they work. I also enjoy smashing things with a hammer/sledge hammer if needed. Although I started scrapping about 8 months ago, I have yet to take a load of metal to the scrap yard. I have been accumulating my scrap and learning how to break down each item for the maximum profit. I found this forum about six months ago and have read every thread at least once and felt it was time to join. I want to thank everyone for the wealth of information that you have provided me and I hope I can contribute to the forum and help other members in their scrapping adventures.
