Hello From SE Texas

Hello and good day to all:



My name is Joe, I am mid-50's & live in southeast texas, a stone's throw from the La. border.

I work for Wal-mart (floor maint.) and am doing some small-scale (mostly copper) scrapping for
myself...sort of as a hedge against any future financial downturns, and to perhaps add a few
pennies to my retirement piggy-bank.

I was glad to find this most informative discussion forum and very much appreciate all the great
info that's been presented. My thanks to you all!

Haha, cool! I used to cut through Bridge City and Orange on my way out of Port Arthur, headed towards New Orleans. Worked offshore out of NO during the late 70s and on into the 80s. I hitched out of Sabine Pass there for several years. That was when Bethlehem Steel was still going strong.
