Finally introducing myself

Hi everyone. Been lurking for awhile just for the purpose of learning about E-scrap. I work for a large global recycler that doesn't e-scrap and as all businesses evolve one day I'm sure we will enter that market. I decided to finally join and reposted a few times, but didn't have to decency to introduce myself.

I love scrap and do it obviously for a living, but as a hobby as well. I live in South Jersey with my wife and 3 boys under 10. I Coach football, wrestling and baseball. Spend the majority my time with work, coaching and family. Like to fish, mainly freshwater, but hard to find the time. Love golf and make time for that . I'm a big football fan, live fantasy.



Other than that, I'm just a hardworking family man with knowledge of the backend of the scrap business. Open for any questions or advice, and not looking to gain financially here, just knowledge. So hello to all.

Thanks everyone. Mechanic, that's what I'm thinking. It's surprising for how large we are that we don't escrap. But I'm learning. Currently all we do are boards from vehicles post shred. We get the occasional coopper bearing gaylords with pc's and laptops from other dealers w/ boards intact, but mostly stripped of hds and memory, and now that i'm learning about it, it drives me crazy to see the lack of knowledge of the value of the motherboards alone for the recovery. My goal learn as much and as fast as possible.
