Hello,
I'm, gheebee1; Greg, from Hampton Va. I'm a newbie to the scrap metal industry and I'd like to get as much information as I kind about the business of scrapping. I'm a disabled vet that is not going to let my inability stop me. I may post a lot of questions because I dont know, (1st question: How do I tell titanium from aluminum?) Please be patience with me. I am a computer software nerd and I want to run a successful metal recycling business. Thanks for all of your knowledge and help

Greg, the best thing you can do is take some time every nite and get a soft drink and start reading back thru our old threads.
Just about everything you want to know should already be answered, you just don't know what all the questions will be yet.
It'll be one of those, forehead smack things,
If your expertise is IT or computer you might think about electronic recycling in addition to the metal recycling cause you should already have a few contacts there.

Hello Gheebee1. I'm also from Hampton. But I haven't been on the forum for quite some time and am by no means an expert in the scrapping business. But I do have an electronics background.
