    Hello from NSW Australia

Hey, hobby scrapper from Australia here.

Started scrapping going on 12 months now, work during the week and scrapping is just something I do as a hobby in my spare time.

I do it as a hobby alot for the environmental factor, as most scrappers I am big on reuse and recycling rather than wastage.

Never been to the yard yet but have scrap from a huge range of broken down items in my lot.. from the small like matchbox cars and bic lighters to the larger items like metal chairs, trampoline and various sorts of e-waste.

Long time lurker of the forum and gotten many useful tips but finally decided to sign myself up.

Hey Ausi, do you make decent money from scrapping in your country?

Not sure to be honest, never been to the yard yet.
Started 12 months back but just letting my scrap build..
Hopefully we get good prices here so when I do end up getting to the yard I will have a nice pay day

Lol yeah it's called a hoarder down here aswell.

Would have loved to have checked out a yard by now but between working and not being a fully licensed driver able to drive solo.. makes it hard at the current moment, so just letting it build. not crazy sprawled all over the place like hoarders you see on tv lmao, all kept neat and packed away in plastic tubs, metal buckets etc.

Thanks for the post tho Mechanic, I've actually had one of your threads opened for acouple of days now, even before I signed up to the forum, that I have been making my way through reading.. "The many posts of Mechanic688-Some good info, some not so good"
