    Complete Newbie in Texas.

I'm a city girl who met a country guy who loves metal. I saw the i <3 scrapmetal bumper sticker on his tool box and just like a city girl would do, I googled "how to make money off of scrap metal". Now, here I am. I'm a natural born hustler and refuse to work a traditional job so this interests me a lot!! I don't even own a truck YET but that is on the "to do asap" list. In the mean time and in between time, I'm reading and watching videos on you tube. And I've already purchased various items including a huge box of Christmas lights. I've spent 45$ and that's ok with me as I navigate my way into this business. Oh I've also chased two CL ads for nothing, whoo hooo!! So, this is me and I'm truly greatful to have found this forum. Thanks in advance, Randysgirl

Take some time, pick a subject (like Dismantling, Breaking Down & Maximizing Scrap etc.) and do some reading, print up/get some business cards and a few flyers and start networking with people, the more you intereact with the better it'll get.

It won't happen overnite but it will happen. I have people still contacting me from 2 years ago, when I was hitting the yard sales heavy. (was doing haulaways)
