As soon as I could walk...

...there was a ratchet in my hand. Hello fellow scrappers! My name's Dan and I'm a third generation scrapper. For as long as i can remember I was scrapping with my dad to get that new toy or video game. Thanks to this website I have learned the wonders of e-scrap and started collecting it as well. I am a college student so of course I am going to be scrapping now more than ever! Now that I'm living on my own I'm learning fast that finding scrap metal isn't as easy as when my dad got it for me. haha Still, I see it everywhere. It's just crazy what people will throw away. Anyways, I'm super grateful I found this forum, I hope I learn a lot on here, and can't wait to get to know some of you folks!

Welcome, there is soooo much to learn here! I'm using scrapping as income while going to school, I used to think I knew a good amount, and then I found this place and have made a good chunk of change because of what I've learned.
