I am looking forward to exploring here. I am a long time do-it-yourself home improver and car restorer. My lovely wife has finally convinced me that my treasures and keepsakes in the garage (which she refers to as the vortex) need to be thinned out a bit. She's convinced me my son won't be able to keep all the things I've accumulated, and he won't really appreciate why I've kept things so long. I do wonder about that because I saw my Dad save things "just in case" and I seem to have learned that lesson too well.
In my case, I have scrapped metals before just because I ran out of room to keep them. But that was real junk. Now I'll be re-evaluating whether I should keep actual good stuff...or share with someone else. I will admit finding a little workspace inside the garage would be refreshing.
