I just wanted to say hello to all of you out there. I'm by no means a full time scrapper nor a part time scrapper, however I have been saving a few items here and there when I get the chance. I'm from the deep south of mississippi. From time to time I do see things on the side of the road but rarely stop. I always tell myself that if it is there on my way back home I will pick it up. Not, it's always gone. LOL. I work in IT so I do see a few computers go from time to time. I actually sold some old pc boards (fried boards out of old pc) to a company that I found online but hardly made any profit from it. Thats when I started to look around more and find this site. I notice more people were getting better deals than what I had gotten so this has sparked my intrest back up in scrapping. I hope to learn a few more things from this forum.

Welcome to the forum. The key is to read as much as you can on this forum. Sence your an IT guy then read all the old post in the electronics section. Also check out the buyer/seller section, we have good,fair and honest buyers here on the form. This is the best free education you will ever get on e-waste. Good luck.

Hey Nutmeg, welcome to SMF. When I worked out of New Orleans I loved hanging out on the Miss. beaches. Had friends in Biloxi, and a few work buddies on inland. Good luck with your scrappin!
