    Cool Hello from WI

    Hello!

My name is Lyndon. I used to be into scrapping way back when I lived in MT but got out of it as back then it wasn't that profitable. Over the years I kind of part timed it with buying storage auctions but that got ridiculous with the whole storage wars thing. If I ever saw computer equipment I wouldn't even bid cause I figured most of it I was gonna have to pay to toss out. Well I had something else come along and found this site along with stuff on youtube and others that got me to thinking how stupid I was. So a couple weeks ago I was at a storage auction and when the door went up I saw some stuff I could make money on but I also saw a ton of CRT's and computers. I knew I could get it cheap so I bid. $200 for a 10x26 stuffed full. The next one I got for $300. Short story is there were over 50 CRT's, 70 Net Vista P4 towers, 50 flat screen monitors, computer speakers new in the box (40), phones, networking gear, modems, etc. I have a 2 car garage that is literally packed with this stuff and I'm having a blast scrappin it. The info on here has been invaluable so I figured I should pony up some of my good fortune and get the membership. I hope to learn a lot more and enjoy some great relationships with you guys. Thanks a ton!!

Welcome to the forums from a sandbar off the coast of NC.

Glad to hear your return was in a grand way and from what it sounds like, is going to be quite profitable for you. Look forward to hearing about you cashing it all in and finding you another treasure trove or three.

I'd say kick back, make use of past threads, etc..but it seems you've already done that!

Good luck to ya in your future scrapping deals!
