First and foremost...welcome to the forums from a sandbar off the coast of NC.
Now on to my take on the post limit..
Yea..I also like that you need a certain amount of posts before linking pics, video, etc. Sure makes it easier knowing I can click on a link an know its not some bot/troll/hack/virus or some other dastardly link!
I frequent a few forums on the internet, an this one is one of the best. Very few if any trolls, very few spammers, etc. I'd say 90% of the folks who post here are pleasant, friendly, and helpful. I'd say a lot of that is thanks to the admin and his rules. This is a nice change from the other forums I visit. No constant cussing, trolling, insults, flame wars, etc. Why admins of other forums allow the posters to run the system I'll never know. I highly support the limit on posting pics/video/links. I also support the right for our admin and mods use the ban hammer and put folks on vacation when it's warranted. We don't see it a lot here but it does happen. We all have our not so nice days, or forget how to count to ten before posting..lol.
So yea...you need a certain number of posts to link a pic. As tski72 suggested, plenty of new folks who could use a hello to their introduction post. With that said..welcome the forums again, hope you don't let something like a post limit stop you from coming around. This forum and its posters are a treasured resource and will share just about most things with folks who ask. No they won't hold your hand and guide you to the holy grail of scrap/
ewaste but they will be happy to share their knowledge with you, so that when you do find that holy grail, you'll know what to do with it.
Good luck to ya, and hope to see ya about posting and sharing your scrapping experiences with the rest of us in the future.
