DIARY Day to day life at my scrap yard in uk

I thought I would upload pictures videos ect.....Of what goes on at my scrap yard I work at family run business started by my grandparents.

I will keep updating once a week or so like a diary.

How to empty a van

Little pick up/caddy we have 9 come in from a job at euro tunnel have hydraulic pumps if you won't to connect anything to it plus it's a tipper with a 1.6 Volkswagen engine I believe these thing were worth £45000 new

Came from same job as the caddy these things weighed 16 ton each we had 3 of them

Today's scrap came in the firm of a 7 ton bus

Where abouts in the UK are ya mate?

That bus must've been fun, where did you find it?

We are down in Kent

Yea it's nice to do something different and a company weighed it in as iron I presume I didn't ask what price they gave lol

Aluminium body panels , large diesel engine , rare parts galore.........nice one.
