Newly Registered, my IP Addy has been lurking for years!

Just the obligatory self intro (yes, I was informed it is in fact not obligatory). I'm in south central Kansas and have been interested in and researching the scrap scene for years. Only recently started participating and profiting from it. I am currently self employed selling on ebay and augmenting that scrapping. My background includes formal education, OTR truck driving, and insurance adjusting/estimating. So there you have it!

Ya'll get some lovely thunderstorms out there, saw a few beauties while out there, just freaking awesome. Thankfully no tornado's..and it didn't snow till the week before I left! I spent that week in a hotel. lol.

I lived down in the S.E. corner of Kansas for a few years back in the 80's and one year I mowed my grass on Christmas day and one summer day I stood right outside my garage door and watched a tornado go overhead over to the local fairgrounds.

I've come to realize this, it's hard to go anywhere and not run into someone with some connection to the wheat state.

Thank you for the welcome! Sirscrapalot, I'm in the Wichita area, but am familiar with the Coffeyville/Independence area (hell I'm familiar with most areas of KS, except for the extreme Northwest)! I second taterjuice, we have colorful meteorlogical conditions accross our state. Why, just last week we had a day in the 80s, followed by upper 60s, followed by a freeze and high of 38 then next. I'm used to it
