Hello, New Guy From California

Hi Im a new scrapper, have only processed all kinds material for a couple months.
Ive lurked & researched here for a little bit longer than that.
Let me say I appreciate the knowledge & laughs everyone is kind enough to share!

So basically a buddy [big stoner] has worked for this guy for 3 years & they lost their warehouse.
He offered me a job & I busted ass breaking down lab equip, routers, ultra sound machines, servers ext..
All in the confines of 2 storage units..boss was cool but always out turning in material.

So while everyone slacked off I learned as much as I could & broke my back to meet deadlines on material,
considering this was the first job to come my way in a long while.

Well after a couple months of working 7am-7pm getting $50 here & there, I finally asked about my monies owed.
Boss decides rather than the $10. hr agreed on, he will pay us on a per job basis.
Wait it gets better, this is the day we moved into a new warehouse from the storage units..turns out to be a 16 hr shift!

Later I find out he's not the smartest guy..he's just taking advantage of kids & paying them in weed & a $50 bill.
Im 27 & I have bills, dont want to be a jerk but I think wtf I can do 1000X better than this guy..hell he does nothing!

Anyways a 3 gaylord mixed router job comes along and we agree $300 total, no matter how long it takes.
I finish in 3 days & come payday he shorts me yet again..gives me an excuse that times are tough because we just moved to the warehouse..
Meanwhile my buddy who pays me informs me that in the 2 weeks we've been at the warehouse our gross is $16,000.



My old lady is pissed & I tell him I cant work untill Im paid up.
Sorry for the sob story guys I just want to say the hell with them & start up myself.
Problem is I can break down material like a madman but I dont have all his connections & resources.
My goal is to find a cheap pallet of routers & start from there.
The lady at the storage we worked out of always liked me & always said to make sure he's paying me.
I doubt I would have a problem getting a nice workspace there if I had the cash.
