Hello all,

My name is Chuck, I live in Windber PA about 13 miles from Johnstown PA. I run a small, humble computer repair shop out of my home and have been doing so his for over 4 years now, part time. I work full time for a local communications company. I will do my best over the next few years in collecting scrap from electronic devices and desktop computers. I am a bit of a treasure hunter and that may come from my father, he had to help feed his brothers and sisters by raiding junk piles when he was a kid, we have different motives but its all treasure if you know who to sell it to right?



I just dismantled 8 computers in my basement last night and separated all of the different boards, RAM sticks and PCI cards etc. etc. People give me their busted up or obsolete computers from time to time and I used to pitch them on clean up day, but I have decided to stop junking good money, so here I am trying to learn more about your industry. I will be posting a few questions immediately.
