    Atlanta - With computers to scrap

    Thought I'd join, I have 12 Dells that need scrapping and I do not know how! Processors... scrap or sell?

    first off, welcome to SMF. Second is, you say they "need scrapping". Are you certain of this? How can you be, if you can't even take one apart?
    I'd suggest determining what they are, before you tear them down. One way to do this is by going to Dell support and entering their tag number, then looking through the specs to find what processors, RAM, and hard drives are installed. And then, decide if they really "need scrapping" ; )

    Agreed what model are they........I sell complete setups $75-$150 each

    These computers are three years old and being cycled out. All have dead power supplies, all have Intel E7500 Core 2 Duo processors, all the RAM was pillaged as were the HDs and VCs. Seems to be a good chunk of copper in teh heat sink but lookds hard to seperate...... read read reading
