Hey everyone,
I thought I would introduce myself quickly. I found the forum by accident when I was trying to find salvage yards in Southeast Wisconsin. I found a lot of great info and enthusiastic people here on the site and decided to join. I have had a lot of fun salvaging for treasures at public landfills as a kid by sneaking in when you still had access to them before they put up fences. This was in a small town overseas. I was brought up by someone who grew up during the WW2 and saved everything that could be of use and taught me how to do recycling. Later on from home renovations I got a bunch of scrap metal to recycle that quickly took over my garage floor and now I am looking forward to going to the scrap yards and finding the inner kid in me again. I am doing this for the environment, the cash and for the fun of it. Thanks.
