Been a lurker on this site for a little while, figured it was time to join. My name is Chase, I own a small auto salvage yard in Ellwood City, Pa (about 45 mins north of pittsburgh). I'm 25 years old and have been in business for about two years now. I have quite a history with scrap, my grandfather had a small junkyard where i pretty much grew up. My dad has worked at the local auto shredder yard since 1978. I've always been surrounded by the scrap business, and i love everything about it. By joining here I'm hoping to pick up tips from people that have been in the business much longer, maybe finding some new outlets to sell scrap, and to help out people new into the "scrap lifestyle".
