Hey everyone,
My name is Jim and I own a bottle and can redemption center in New York. We have a 5 cent deposit on bottles/cans here and people need a place to take them to get their money back and recycle them, and thats what we do! We sort everything that comes in by distributor and get paid a handling fee by the distrubutors for doing it. I also have an electrical business so I usually have some copper/aluminum to scrap out. Just getting into the e-scrap game as a collection site for a local e-scrap recycler. We get paid pennies on the pound and I think it may be time to become the recycler and not the middle man. On here to see if anyone has an e-scrap recycling business, find out where to sell my scrap, and that type of thing.
