    Hello from Maiden, NC

My name is John and I'm from Maiden North Carolina. I've only recently started scrapping more or less as a hobby; right now anyway. I hope to work my way up as I go along and start paying bills with scrapping. My first little goal is to pay a $200 a month bill then that and a car payment and on and on until i can pay everything. Will that happen? I'm not sure, but I do have the desire and the will so, it just might. I found out right quick its hard work, but at the same time its fun work too. I've read quite a few threads on here already and am learning more what to look for. My biggest problem at the moment is I don't own a truck so my options are limited some what. No large appliances for me. I guess that's about it for now I hope to get to know a lot of you better as time goes on.

Welcome to the forum and if you read enough of the old threads you will learn you are far ahead of others who started with less. One started with a back pack. Keep reading and best of luck, Mike.

Heck, I'm scrapping with a Taurus and a borrowed truck when needed. Majority done in the car.

I'm using a geo prisim for most of my stuff. thinking about taking out the back seat to make more room. It's not a family car so wouldn't be a problem I just drive it to work and talk about gas mileage bout 30mi a gallon.

    Welcome from Ontario

That is what i am using lately, to haul all my metal scrap.

It is not a joke, it is a lot of work but gets the job done.
