new here looking for ideas

Hi; I am a 59 year old semi-retired man.
recently I have been doing buying selling metal. A few years ago I dismantled part of a large copper mine's recovery plant. I removed about 2,000 tons of #1 steel ( this was before the price of steel spiked) and it cost a lot to remove. At today's price I would have retired a lot more comfortably.
Since then I have bought scrape around Canada and The USA and resold it to the large buyer like Sims.
Right now I just had scrape in Salt Lake City, Oklahoma City, Dayton, Columbus, and Tulsa. The problems I am having now are with getting the scrape moved and finding the right buyers for copper insulated wire, as I am not there to strip it.
It would be nice to be able to get some other scrapers to pick up and stripe some of the wire so we both could make a better Dollar.
When I get the scrape moved I can not then just pick up the scrape and go to a different yard if they do not pay enough for the grade of wire they say it is.
Also sometimes there would be more money if I could separate the items, like stainless for steel, brass from copper, or aluminum from copper.
I hope this isn't too much detail for a introduction but this is whats happen for me right now. Thanks for reading this.
