    New from Indiana

    Hey all!

I've been reading this forum for a couple weeks now and can't get over how much great information and what helpful people are here. I finally decided it was time to jump out of the shadows and introduce myself. I've been collecting random stuff for scrap to get my feet wet. Mostly curb shopping but also trying to keep an eye on the free area of craigslist. So far I'm obviously not picky and will pick up whatever has any scrap value at all. I look forward to reading more and learning more great info from you wonderful people. I also jumped into the forum with both feet and signed up for the Scrap Room as soon as I registered. Thanks and I look forward to getting to know you all!

    Welcome from Cincy!

Joining was the best investment I made in years. Cannot begin to tell you how it has changed my life for the better!!!!

Just beware of the guy with the "traveling cooler"...think he has been bit by a sand flea, got sun stroke or sumptin, and it messed up his gray matter.

Welcome to the forum. Read a lot and break down everything for a while. Also make sure what ever you pick up check to see if it can be sold as is for more than scrap. Mike.

Welcome from WI. I have learned alot more from here than my time at YouTube college, plus I didn't have to listen to how stupid some of the people there are... LOL All the guys on here have been very helpful.

miked - Great advice. I've been breaking everything down as far as I can so far. Even if its not time/cost effective so far it gives me experience with how much work goes into scrapping different items and lets me know a little more about how they work. Plus, lets face it, its just plain fun to pull stuff apart without having to worry if you can get it back together again. ;-)
