Another Maine Kid

So I'm definitely a novice to this but with the holidays approaching and a brief period of unemployment, I figured this might be a good time to explore scrapping more.

I'm 26, born and raised here in lovely Maine, and I've been at this a couple times in the last year or so, mostly hauling things from my parents' house as part of a you-get-rid-of-it-the-money's-yours sort of arrangement. I used their truck first but then once I got a kayak (and having learned about the potential money in metal) I got a sweet S10 (new pride and joy), which now usually has this and that in it for metal. I'm lucky to know a couple contractors and builders who have given me pointers but I could definitely use more and this forum looks super-helpful.
